  2. Tuck the head and tail flap ends of the tubular mattress under the bed pad
  3. Connect the air hoses to the electric air pump and mattress as tight as possible
  4. Hang the air mattress pump using hangers at the edges of the bed frame
  5. Keep the pressure adjusting knob at full in the beginning to fill the air at speed
  6. Insert the plug into the power outlet and turn the power button on
  7. Then press the on/off button on the air pump and wait as it takes 15-20 minutes to fully inflate then it starts to alternate
  8. Alter the adjustable pressure pump speed using the knob according to the need and comfort of the patient
